Jamie Bails, MBA, PMPJamie Bails is the owner and founder of Bails & Associates. With over 26 years of Infor Lawson and enterprise business application experience, she understands the products we work with on a personal level. She not only oversees all strategic initiatives and maintains an active role in the organization but also retains a close and personal relationship with our clients. Bails has won Infor awards in the last five cycles including Infor FY19 CloudSuite Excellence Partner of the Year. Additional accolades include, Best in Business and a two-time Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Best Employer.As a trusted advisor, Jamie has been integral in the development of implementation coordination, resource assignment, project plan execution, and project facilitation for Infor Software products and services. Her consulting team is comprised of the most senior and well-respected individuals in the industry who seek her out based on her reputation as an astute businesswoman and mentor with a strong moral compass.As an effective leader, Jamie possesses the focus, perseverance, and integrity required to get results. She has grown her company by surrounding herself with an exceptional team of individuals who work well as a team to exceed expectations. VP, Client Services
Arden Varney, CPA
Arden started his career with Coopers & Lybrand in audit and worked towards earning his CPA license. Later, as a Controller at a 280-location restaurant chain, he implemented Lawson Financials and HR/Payroll. He then joined Lawson Software in their consulting services group. In 1999, Arden came onboard to Bails & Associates as a Senior Financial Consultant.
Arden has worked on more than 100 implementation projects during his career, crossing industries as diverse as healthcare, retail, technology, and services. He also spent a significant amount of time working with Infor on the CloudSuite Financial products, including testing the “beta” version and training other partners on the product.
In 2011, Arden added CFO duties to his responsibilities. He provides Bails with financial reporting and analysis, sales support, and evaluates new areas of growth and development for the firm. As a member of the Bails Executive team, he is a key factor in the firm’s growth and excellent reputation.
VP, Service Delivery
Lori has over 17 years of professional services industry experience in the Infor ERP/Cloud space. Her broad knowledge of consulting services includes Human Capital Management Consulting, Sales, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Capacity Planning, Management, and Strategic Planning.
Lori began her career as a Financial Services Consultant at PNC Bank working with retail clients. She was quickly promoted to work with the Small Business Enterprise team, where she was identified as a top performer. She then progressed into a management role responsible for a team of employees who processed all online loan applications, including PNC’s largest portfolio client.
In 2000, Lori transitioned to a role as a consultant working on Lawson’s Human Resources Suite of products. After starting a family, she moved into an Operations Management role at Bails. Lori’s personal experience and knowledge of the ideal consulting skillset gives her the unique ability to locate and vet exceptional talent. She prides herself on finding highly competent, innovative individuals to complement our team of consultants. This ability gives her an advantage when capacity planning. According to Lori, “The project teams I have assembled over the years have been critical to the reputation and success Bails has in the industry.”
In alignment with Bails commitment to enablement, Lori works to promote educational focus and career advancement. She works closely with Bails Practice Managers to plan and schedule training for our consultants ensuring they are enabled and well versed in the latest software versions.
Lori also partners with Bails Business Development and Project Management to scope, plan, kick-off, and implement successful projects. She is in constant communication with our client base, coordinating schedules, supporting internal resources, and resolving staff and client issues expeditiously.
She is a collaborative and creative HR leader focused on aligning with C-level executives as a trusted advisor and strategist on the most effective and cost-efficient ways to support organizational objectives.

Lori is a wife of one and mother of three, who also loves travel, history, culture, and food.
Director of Service Delivery
Kellie Gilbert, PMP
As Director of Service Delivery, Kellie’s role is to keep Bails clients happy through managing projects and helping lead our Human Capital Management team. She also provides direction and support to our consulting team ensuring excellence in customer service and client satisfaction.
With over twenty-one years of consulting experience, she excels at proactively anticipating the needs of clients and providing positive and constructive solutions. She is committed to her clients and will do whatever it takes to make an implementation a success.
Kellie’s wealth of knowledge of the Infor products combined with her Project Management experience makes her uniquely qualified to train, guide, and support our clients and consultants. Kellie’s clients and peers appreciate her straight-forward, honest, and creative approach to problem-solving. Highly sought after for her creation of custom and internal training materials, she has worked with some of our largest and most challenging clients. Those successful projects include Johnson & Johnson, McDonald’s, Costco, and Hard Rock Café.
Kellie has served as Project Manager for many Infor Implementation projects. Her background in Payroll, Human Resources, and Information Technology spans many industries, including pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, government, food services, printing, entertainment, and news.
Kellie is also an experienced trainer, fully Certified on Infor’s v11 Human Capital Management Suite. Kellie has expertise in On Premise and Cloud Suite Implementations. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, a gold standard designation issued by the internationally recognized Project Management Institute.
In her free time, Kellie stays busy “managing” her husband, teenagers, puppies, and running a household in Wilmington, NC. She enjoys traveling which includes a family vacation on Frying Pan Tower, a boutique lighthouse, or a river cruise with her siblings.
Director of Service Delivery
Mark Borsheim, CPA
As Controller and a Senior Application Consultant, Mark provides financial analysis and strategic planning support to several internal efforts while providing prescriptive implementation and upgrade solutions to a wide variety of clients.
Mark is a results-oriented and effective application consultant with a specialty in directing and supporting financial goals and objectives. He is a team leader and collaborator, with an established record of maximizing project ROI through improved productivity and resource utilization. He is customer-oriented and focused on providing targeted analysis to stakeholders in a meaningful way.
As a team leader with over 15 years of providing value to businesses across multiple industries, Mark possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills. His strong analytical skills ensure his ability to produce quality work under strict deadlines. He excels at providing training, both in-person and virtually to a wide variety of audiences. His experience includes Top-Down/Bottom-Up Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Modeling/Acquisitions, ERP Implementation Management (Infor/Lawson Planning & GL), Inventory Valuation/Reconciliation, Infor/Lawson Financial Suite, Month/Year End Close Management, Long-Range Strategic Plan Development, Service Line Revenue Analysis, and Gross Margin Planning and Analysis.
Mark started his career as a tax accountant with a small firm in Florida before moving to a private industry where he enjoyed steady advancement opportunities and served in several high-profile management positions over accounting, financial analysis, acquisitions, and system development across both the retail and logistics industries. In that time, he was recognized multiple times for outstanding achievements including companywide awards for leading a successful Lawson implementation and expanding financial analytic capabilities and timeliness. After working with Lawson and Infor software for most of his professional life and enjoying the process and analytic improvement work inherent in system application development, he sought to join the consulting firm that he used as a client.
In 2016 Mark was recruited to participate in and provide input for Infor’s first full Financial CloudSuite boot camp. He later worked on behalf of Infor and other partner firms to co-teach those classes to peers and colleagues. Mark now has numerous successful CloudSuite Implementations under his belt and continues to provide valuable input for product development.
When he is not busy doing the work he loves, Mark takes great pride in winning at board games and kayaking in beautiful Florida. He loves dogs, especially dachshunds, and enjoys culinary exploration and traveling with his wife.
Director of Accounting
Penny came to Bails in 2017 and is currently the Director of Accounting. Her work history includes over 30 years in the healthcare finance arena, holding positions such as Accounts Payable Supervisor, Financial Analyst, and Decision Support Analyst. She is no stranger to automated financial systems, having assisted with implementations in accounts payable, general ledger, purchasing, and utilizing database mining for analysis. Her analytical experience includes Service Line Reporting, Revenue Analysis, and ROI’s. She supported the Administrative Staff in making decisions for the operations of hospitals and physician practice divisions by utilizing patient accounting, medical records, payroll, benchmarking, and decision support systems. She has advanced experience in Excel, which includes utilizing Pivot Table summaries.
Penny’s responsibilities at Bails & Associates include Client Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Collections, and Employee Benefits. She believes customer service support is essential when working with Bails’ talented staff of consultants, and always has an open mind to change.
Penny is proud of her accomplishment of earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Washington and Jefferson College, as a Non-traditional student, while working full-time and raising a family. However, her most proud part of her life is being the mother and caregiver for her daughter, who was born with Down Syndrome. Penny believes in strong support as her daughter’s advocate and is her daughter’s biggest fan.
Technology Practice Manager
Robert has over 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. Robert is a highly analytical and results-oriented leader experienced in technical project management with extensive experience supporting human resource and financial ERP systems. He has over 20 years of technical Infor consulting experience working with companies in the United States and Canada. He has a proven track record designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions with an in-depth knowledge of core business processes and data.
Robert began his professional career as an analyst for a global benefits consulting company where, while on a Lawson implementation, met and first worked with Jamie Bails. A year later, Rob became Bails and Associate’s second employee as a developer. Over the years, he has moved into all areas of the technical side of the Infor software including Process Automation, Security Administration, product installation, system administration, and technical project management.
He is responsible for the oversight of all Bails technical consultants, as well as technical engagements. As a technical project manager, he provides best practice recommendations for process improvement, installations, migrations, upgrades, process flows, security, conversions, modifications, interfaces, and reports for the entire Infor ERP software suite of products. He is highly skilled in assisting Healthcare clients in Business Transformation ERP implementations. Rob has also worked with clients in the Public Sector, Transportation, Communications, Retail, and Insurance industries.
Robert resides in the Denver, Colorado area with his wife of 20 years and 3 children. He spends most of his ‘free’ time helping his wife shuttle their 3 children to their sporting events and other activities. He also enjoys hiking, skiing, and other various outdoor activities.
Human Capital Management Practice Manager
Niki brings approximately 20 years of ERP experience to Bails and our client base. She is the Human Capital Management (HCM), Practice Manager overseeing our entire HCM team. Niki provides direction and support to the Bails HCM consulting team which includes consulting on product changes, performing quarterly check-ins, as well as making sure they are achieving their development goals. She does this in addition to support her own clients. In this role, she also works strategically with leadership and team members with issue resolution, documentation, and communication within the project and throughout the organization. Since starting as a Payroll Manager implementing new solutions, she has participated in every aspect of an Infor HCM Implementation including training, testing, staff augmentation, and project management. She understands best practices as well as pitfalls that can often occur as part of an HCM implementation. She works hard to make sure she leaves her clients enabled and happy with the system they have implemented.
Niki is certified in Global Human Resources (GHR), which includes Benefits, Absence Management, Goals, Performance, and Compensation. She has also been involved in several HCM CloudSuite implementations and has implemented and supported all modules of S3 and GHR throughout her career.
According to Niki, “As a consultant, it is always beneficial to see through the eyes of the client, and since I was originally an end-user, this has been helpful to bridge the gaps that can occur on HCM projects.” Niki also is a list maker and problem solver and prides herself on her documentation skills. She is always determined to complete the mission to ensure her clients are satisfied and receive documentation that they can leverage when the project is complete.
Niki is an amazing cook and baker. She is currently experimenting with focaccia art in a brand-new kitchen her husband helped create and build. Her long-term goal is to buy a home in Ecuador.
Technology Practice Manager
Jared started in the Infor/Lawson world as an intern for a healthcare organization in the Southwest. In the 10+ years since, he has done deep dives on products all over the Infor/Lawson ecosystem and worked on a wide variety of projects, including migrations, conversions, upgrades, development projects both large and small, and even beta-testing and helping to write documentation for Infor. Though he abhors a cliché, Jared is nonetheless a wearer-of-many-hats and is accustomed to playing a handful of different roles to meet project goals, including systems architect, Technical Project Manager, developer, and system administrator. While his focus has been in Healthcare, Jared has also enjoyed working in the Public Sector, particularly with small- to mid-size county and city governments and utilities.
Figuring out how to leverage application functionality to best meet the objectives is one of Jared’s favorite challenges, and when presented with new technologies and tools, he happily jumps into the deep end first. Jared also enjoys leading teams and is proud of his record of effective, efficient leadership through empowerment and encouragement.
Jared is based in Colorado and is an avid outdoorsman, spending as much time as he can out in the Mountain West, skiing, hiking, fishing, and rock-climbing. He is passionate about good food and keeps one foot in the restaurant/service industry to continue to chase that elusive feeling he first had when walking into a real bakery for the first time. Jared is also a history buff and a voracious reader who will use any excuse he can to travel somewhere and bring context to the historical record.
Supply Chain Management Practice Manager
Kacie Burge, MBA
Kacie has been the lead Supply Chain consultant and assisted in multiple CloudSuite implementations since joining Bails in 2017. She can proficiently communicate operational tasks while evaluating and assisting with system design. An expert at evaluating and improving process flows, she develops personalized training plans for clients and conducts test cycles that ensure a project’s success. She ensures clients are empowered, proficient, and take advantage of business process improvements.
Kacie believes in professional growth and continued education. She has received professional certification as an Infor Certified Consultant for Supply Management. After completing her undergraduate education and with several years’ experience in the workforce, she achieved a Master of Business Administration degree while working full time.
Before beginning her consulting career, Kacie worked as Purchasing Director and buyer and has over 14 years of experience in the specialty retail industry. This provided her with extensive procurement knowledge needed for complex implementations. She has a highly developed ability to manage projects on a large-scale level leveraging both her strict attention to detail and her excellent organization skills.
Kacie has a proven ability to build strong and lasting relationships with almost everyone she meets. She maintains contact with and continues to assist many former clients, most of which she has cultivated a personal friendship. Her favorite part about the industry, other than an outlet for her organizational skills, is all the fascinating people she has met along the way!
While Kacie loves her title of ‘consultant,’ her favorite role is as a new mother. Inspired by the many women who successfully maintain a work/family balance, she strives to set an example for others by being flexible, present, and a problem solver in both her personal and professional life.
Organizational Change Management Practice Manager
Dawn Williams Zabicki, MBA, MS
“If you want to build a ship, don’t merely gather people to collect wood and assign tasks, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.” Antoine Saint-Exupery eloquently conveys the importance of sharing a compelling vision when embarking on a noteworthy project. Helping leaders articulate a vision and seeing that vision come to fruition is what Dawn loves most about her role as the Manager of our Organizational Change Management Practice.
She has more than 25 years of experience driving change enabled by enterprise-wide IT implementations. Her industry experience includes consumer products manufacturing, utilities, and power distribution, government, medical insurance, human services, and financial services. Her ERP implementation experience includes Infor, Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP, and numerous other business-critical IT applications.
A student of several change management methodologies, including Prosci, Dawn understands the importance of customizing an approach to meet each individual client’s needs. Under her leadership, we can deliver across the change management spectrum. We can conduct workshops to help a team articulate and understand a project vision; facilitate leadership alignment; create change communication campaigns; help manage resistance and develop a complete roadmap to transform an organization’s operating model.
She holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, a Master’s in Business Administration (earned as a Goodwill Ambassadorial Scholar in Belgium), and a BA in International Studies. She brings a deep level of knowledge and passion for the people and the organizational side of change and is ready to see you succeed in realizing your project vision.
Dawn enjoys traveling and biking with her husband, golfing with her son, and cooking for friends and family.

VP, Sales and Marketing
Dave Thomas has more than two decades of experience in selling software and consulting services to the Global Lawson Software / Infor customer base. His exclusive product focus brings a unique perspective and experience level gained from working with hundreds of customers worldwide and across all industries to the Bails team.
Dave began his sales career in technology during a college internship with IBM. In this role, he was the IBM sales rep for Butler University where he was responsible for selling IBM PCs to other students. This job launched Dave’s career in technology and consulting sales which officially began at The Summit Group back in the mid-1990s. Dave’s role at Summit was to sell Implementation and Upgrade services to Lawson Software customers in the Eastern US, Canada, and Europe.
Dave’s next opportunity was working for Lawson Software where he was the Manager of Upgrades Globally and across all industries. In this role, he learned how to help Lawson Software customers successfully navigate their way through the complex decisions required to deliver a successful project. While at Lawson, Dave had additional roles as a Regional Services Manager and Client Account Executive. Dave’s experience working at Lawson Software, as well as select Alliance partners, brings a unique perspective to the Bails team and customer base.
Dave has been working with Infor Customers moving to CloudSuite since the product was rolled out to the early adopters. Over the last two years, he has been meeting with and helping dozens of customers map out a successful journey to completing the transition to the Infor CloudSuite of applications.
Dave lives in Indianapolis and has three children making their way through to finishing college and beginning their careers. He is a diehard Chicago Cubs fan, enjoys playing golf, grilling, and attending concerts.
Senior Account Executive
Luke Neal has been a valuable member of Bails & Associates senior team for over 4 years. He applied his extensive background in sales and experience working with clients to secure a position as the Manager of Strategic Projects. In this role, he provided key support to the senior management team on special projects, provided the sales team with analytics, and assisted the corporate office staff in day to day operations.
Proving his motivation to learn the “ins and outs” of the consulting business, Luke was quickly promoted to an Account Executive and shortly thereafter advanced into the Senior Account Executive role. Luke’s passion to assist others is often demonstrated with clients and colleagues. He is involved in multiple internal projects and viewed as a dedicated team member with a reputation for providing creative solutions and prompt issue resolution.
Additionally, Luke has developed key relationships with Infor Account Executives and senior management teams. He is respected for being highly organized, knowledgeable, and efficient with gathering client requirements and transforming them into deliverables. When preparing SOW’s (Statement of Work) and client proposals he takes great pride and care in asking strategic questions and addressing client-specific concerns. He works diligently to listen to and scope out detailed requirements to provide estimates that address individual unique customer needs. Doing this early in the sales process helps to align expectations, define the appropriate scope of work, and ensure client satisfaction.
Luke recently welcomed a baby girl into his life. She joins his lovely wife and cool pup Carlos to complete his beautiful family. When he is not busy at home, Luke enjoys playing hockey, detailing cars, and hosting gatherings for his relatives who live in the area.
Bryan Waters, MBA
Bryan joined Bails in 2018 and brings over 20 years of combined inside and outside sales and management experience. His experience includes financial, retail, and pharmacy services. Bryan has a proven ability to generate net new business, as well as a keen talent for relationship management and development.
Within the first few years as a sales executive in pharmacy services, he was able to secure the 2nd largest mental health provider in Western Pennsylvania resulting 9 million dollars in new revenue. As a result of that relationship, he was able to cross-sell into other smaller providers of mental health services. According to Bryan, “I am most proud of my ability to develop trusted relationships, both professional and personal with my clients. This resulted in a 500% increase in sales revenue.”
As an Account Executive with Bails, Bryan enjoys working with Infor Account Executives, as well as existing and new Bails clients. He is known for offering responsive, dedicated customer service. Bryan takes pride in fostering client relationships and becoming a trusted resource.
Bryan recently completed a master’s degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg University. He is extremely proud of achieving this accomplishment at the age of 49.
Bryan resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife of 21 years, three teenage daughters, and their dog Buddy. He enjoys vacationing in Florida on Sanibel Island and can tell you anything you want to know about its history, local eateries and must do/see attractions. He looks forward to his annual family vacation to Sanibel and an annual fishing trip to Lake Erie for walleye with his two brothers.
Client Services Manager
As the Client Service Manager for Bails, Molly’s primary responsibility is to maintain a positive and ongoing partnership with our clients ensuring client satisfaction. She helps grow business relationships with current clients and assists in bringing new clients on board. Molly also helps clients better understand the full potential of our products and act as a liaison between the clients and our consulting team.
At Bails, relationships with our clients are part of our core focus and the key to our success. We strive to support our clients on an ongoing basis even after our projects are complete. Molly is an important part of maintaining those relationships with clients and is a dedicated resource to assist with any questions or issues that may arise post project/implementation.
Bails is committed to meeting the needs of our unique client base. Molly continually gathers valuable input from our customers and works with the management team to implement process improvements and best practices to better meet client needs. Molly also works with the consulting team to develop training programs and webinars designed to create awareness about and provide solutions for issues that are common with the Infor product. As a result, Bails has become established as an important resource for the Infor Client Community.
Molly began her career in the Enterprise Risk Services division of Deloitte. In 1998, Molly joined the Bails team as a Senior Application Consultant for Payroll, Human Resources, and Information Technology. After taking a brief sabbatical to raise her family, Molly decided to revive her career and was able to utilize her skill set to return to Bails in the Client Service Manager role. Her background and experience with the Infor products across multiple industries make her the perfect candidate to understand and relate to client needs
In her role as a consultant and as a Client Service Manager, Molly has always enjoyed getting to know our clients on a personal and professional level. She is a great listener who takes the time to understand the challenges and the impacts of those challenges on our clients. She is results-oriented and advocates for our clients to provide timely and appropriate solutions.
Molly resides in Colorado where she enjoys everything her beautiful state has to offer. When she is not watching her kids on the baseball/football/softball and soccer fields you will find her exploring the great outdoors. She loves to ski and snowshoe in the winter and paddleboard and hike in the summer.

Mike Snow has over 21 years of results driven success as an Information Technology delivery consultant, Business Development Professional. Mike’s experience has been exclusive to the Infor ERP Solutions. His Account Management and Service Delivery experience brings a unique strength and perspective to the Bails Sales team.
Mike began his Infor Lawson career as a Finance and Supply Chain functional lead in the mid 1990’s. This opportunity launched Mike’s career further to expand into Account Management. Mike’s industry experience includes Health Care, Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Manufacturing and Public Sector with a concentrated focus on leveraging Infor applications including CloudSuite Financials and Supply Chain, Global Human Resources, Enterprise Asset Management, Payroll as well as reporting and analytics
Mike is experienced in developing roadmaps to transition to the next generation ERP platform for all versions of Infor. His recent focus has been on Infor’s CloudSuite products. He has worked with all organizational levels including senior leadership. Road mapping is important, why?
Mike resides in, North Carolina with his wife Susan and teenage daughter. Mike attended Appalachian State University where he majored in Accounting. He is a diehard University of North Carolina Tarheel and Atlanta Braves fan and enjoys grilling out, reading, and traveling with his family.
